Hamish is a Philosophy graduate student in the St Andrews and Stirling (SASP) programme. He previously studied Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on 4E theories of mind. Since graduating in 2017, he has worked in consultancy and the public sector, supporting individuals experiencing housing insecurity, addiction, and long-term health challenges. He now draws on both his academic background and professional experience to explore interdisciplinary approaches to memory, particularly its constructive nature and how it shapes our understanding of the past.
